What is Downloader?

Downloader is a free app available in the Amazon App Store that lets you download APK files directly to your Firestick using a URL or code.

How to install Downloader

Go to the Amazon App Store on your Firestick, search for 'Downloader', and install it. It is free and safe.

How to use Downloader

Open Downloader, enter the URL or short code for the app you want to install, and follow the prompts to download and install the APK.

Enable unknown sources

You may need to enable 'Install unknown apps' for Downloader in Firestick Settings > My Fire TV > Developer Options.

Common Downloader codes

Many streaming apps have short codes you can enter in Downloader instead of typing a long URL. Check with your provider for the correct code.
