Can Firestick record?

Firestick itself does not have built-in recording, but some streaming player apps support recording to external or cloud storage.

TiviMate Premium recording

TiviMate Premium supports recording to USB storage or internal storage. You need TiviMate Premium (paid) and a USB drive connected to your Firestick 4K Max.

IPTV Smarters recording

IPTV Smarters Pro does not support local recording but may support catch-up (playing recently aired content) if your provider enables it.

Cloud recording

Some providers offer cloud DVR as part of their service. Check with your provider to see if cloud recording is available.

Recording tips

Recording uses significant storage. Use a high-quality USB drive (32GB+) for TiviMate recording. Make sure your Firestick has enough free space before starting a recording.
