Both Firestick and Roku are popular streaming devices. Here is how they compare for streaming.

Firestick vs Roku: Which Is Better for Streaming?

Firestick advantages

Firestick supports sideloading apps via Downloader, has a full web browser (Silk), Alexa voice control, and is more flexible for third-party apps.

Roku advantages

Roku is simpler, has a cleaner interface, supports more official channels, and is easier for non-technical users. Roku does not support sideloading.

For streaming with Xtream Codes

Firestick is better because it supports IPTV Smarters, TiviMate, and other player apps via sideloading. Roku does not support these apps.

For ease of use

Roku is simpler and better for people who only use mainstream streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+.

Recommendation

If you need to sideload streaming apps or use Xtream Codes login, choose Firestick. If you only use mainstream apps, either works.
